AN ITINERANT FREE TRAINING COURSE

Are you ready for an exciting new opportunity that will allow you to work within the cultural mediation for tourism purposes?

Beginning April 4, through May 14, 2023 you can participate in an immersive journey of Landscape tourism promotion through theatrical storytelling.

Twelve appointments of itinerant training in the project partner countries of the Acerbi Theater, which aim to create of new cultural mediation figures for tourism purposes, aware of the tangible and intangible value that our Unesco heritage hills offer.

The workshop is free for participants thanks to the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation as part of the call for proposals “In Luce – Enhancing and narrating the cultural identities of territories – Phase 2.”

WORKSHOP GOAL: CREATE NEW STORYMOVERS!

The Laboratory of territorial awareness aims to bring people closer to the activity of the “Storymover®”: a landscape storyteller, an interpreter of the beauty and memory of Langhe and Monferrato, who will have the task of Accompany tourists on narrated itineraries which include outdoor excursions and food and wine experiences to discover wines and dishes typical of our areas.

Any examples?

  • This year, with our Storymoving Experience, we took hands and led along the underground Cathedrals and among the vineyards visiting tourists and local residents;
  • we conducted video interviews with “landscape witnesses”, people who lived through important moments in the history of our areas;
  • we installed more than 38 “memory poles”, each bearing a QR Code that leads to a video in which our Storymovers® tell anecdotes and stories related to the history of the place they represent.

In addition, with the Storymoving Festival, we ensured that the local community could “reappear,” that is, find themselves and recognize themselves in their own history.
